Rachael Eatock
I’m Rachael, a Product Design Engineering Student at the University of Glasgow and at the Glasgow School of Art.

I am in my final year on the integrated masters programme which is joint between the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow.
Throughout my time at university, I have been discovering who I am as a designer and developing my skills as a engineer.
In summer 2024, I spent 12 weeks working in London with SharkNinja on the Skincare team. During this time I worked on the first product that the launched in this category: a LED therapy mask with under-eye cooling. This launched in October 2024.
I am often found with a camera in my hand. Currently most of my work has been on sport photography, though my passion lies with nature and macro photography. I enjoy the challenge of doing something different, learning about and exploring new areas within photography.
I hope to expand further and better my portrait photography over the next few years.

I am a great lover of nature and often spend my time hiking and exploring it. I find that nature is a great place to go when I need time to myself or to destress.
Most of my free time outside of university is spent on a hockey pitch. Either playing, umpiring or occasionally coaching. I currently play in goals for a team in the Scottish National league.
